Posted at 10:18 PM Friday - November 24, 2006The Speedracer Times review of The ChallengeThere where few beautiful reviews of "The Challenge" blog till now but
this one is above them all.
Me as most "creative" people feed on compliments but do not just compliments for sake of compliments but when essence is reached when one feel "yes this is what was my doing and this person understand it completely". Quote: "The Most Superficial Semi-Intellectual Blog On The Net"? No, what you'll find is Boris Novak's refreshingly inciteful musings about day-to-day occurrences that stir his creativity. "Through the lens of a brilliant neo-modernist thinker, you'll find thought provoking intellect wrapped in poignant humor", says the Speedracer Times. "The tongue-in-cheek seriousness of Noam Chomsky", says The San Francisco Comical". How about this? What do Andy Warhol's End, The Invisible Bike and The Golden Ratio 1.6180339 have in common? The answer? Critical thinking with a sense of humor ... or in other words ... learning through laughter . "The Challenge" is to THINK beyond the day-to-day banalities that suck us into complacency and mediocrity. I know that sounds heavy enough to make your brain smoke. Not to worry, Boris makes it joyously fun. In fact, one look at the Invisible Bike and your stomach will hurt from laughter, as did mine. I learn something new each time I go back for a "challenge". I especially enjoy Boris' creative sensibilities as expressed in his writing, paintings and Flickr photography. Enough said .. go there now! Look ... Read ... Think ... Act! Speedracer501s, Sep 30, 5:32pm End of quote. Well what do you say, fantastic! Thank you Speedracer not for drawing the parallel with Chomsky you know I'm not but for touching and understanding in a striking way the essence ...and keep the Speedracer Times alive and may angels guard over you my friend while you are reaching the limit of your motorbike racing trough the beautiful Californian country! :) | | | | | home | | |
