Heart breaking images from Iran and heart breaking how much indifference in the world, I feel ashamed that I belong to people in general in these moments as I felt same watching Tiananmen uprise then when it was happening in China.

Ayway its a big question why this battle in between Ahmadinejad and Moussavi. Both of them have been selected by the Ayatollahs and thus hardly represent the kind of change people are dreaming of. Though Moussavi would show probably more friendly face to the world, but what else could he do when everything is decided from above.

Last days I have spent lot of time glued on the Twitter following thousands and thousands messages appearing as a unstoppable river started as a cheer to the better future and ending as a shock yesterday night, video after video, image after image, message after message. 

One of the most shocking video was death of young women Neda who became the symbol of the uprise.

Neda Soltani (1982 – 20th June 2009; age 27) was an young Iranian woman whose killing, allegedly by Basij militia during the 2009 Iranian election protests, was captured on video by bystanders. The graphic videos were posted on the Internet, and her name quickly became a rallying cry for the opposition. Neda means “voice” or “calling” in Persian, and she has been referred to as the “voice of Iran” and “a symbol” of this revolution taking place right now. Ya Neda, Ya Neda…. Ya Neda. Beware this might be one of the most heartbreaking video you have ever seen, I could not see it till the end and yet I think it's my duty to publish it on my blog.
